• I have always struggled finding the time to fit character development talks into my karate classes. Whether it was because I didn't want to waste time on a "silly talk", I didn't have enough time to prepare the word of the month, or I just didn't feel confident that what I prepared was good enough to talk about, I usually skipped that part of the class. I stumbled across Black Belt Principles one day and became very interested. What a great way to fit in the word of the month!! The visual aides are fantastic, the mat chats tell you exactly what to say, and the fact that you don't have to allocate time to come up with your own material is so awesome! For the 3-6 year olds this program has really added value to my "Little Champions" class. I finally found a way to teach the word of the month to the little kids and have them excited and focused on Harry and his friends! Once I adopted Black Belt Principles the parents in my 3-6 year old program started to talk to their friends and bring referrals to my school. I don't think it was a coincidence; I think that Harry and Friends added VALUE to what we teach and gave us that extra edge over the other karate schools in the area!!

• I have been using "Harry and Friends Black Belt Principle" with my classes for over a year, now. The materials that I receive each month are "top-notch" - the posters are beautifully produced as are the videos. The students, both young and older, look forward to seeing the new Harry poster we put up each week! Because I have a background in education and counseling, my staff questioned why I would want to spend money on packaged "mat chats" when I have received awards for my character education program. Well, the materials I receive from Sarah are the perfect supplement to that program! Harry and his friends help the students visualize the concepts I teach and reinforce the material so well. If you are a school owner who is not especially comfortable finding ways to reinforce the character traits that are such a huge part of martial arts education, then Harry and Friends is perfect for you to use "right out of the box".
